• The award for best actor in a supporting role awarded to Christian Bale for his performance in the film ‘The Fighter’.
• The award for Best actress in a supporting role awarded to Melissa Leo for her performance in the film ‘The Fighter’.
• Best Animated Feature Film is awarded to Toy Story 3 directed by Lee Unkrich.
• Academy award for best Art Direction is given to Robert  Stromberg (Production Design) & Karen O’Hara (Set Decoration) for the film Alice in Wonderland.
• Academy award for best Cinematography is given to Wally Pfister for the film Inception.
• Academy award for best Costume Design is given to Colleen Atwood for the film Alice in Wonderland.
• Academy award for best Documentary Feature is given to Charles Ferguson and Audrey Marrs for the film Inside Job.
• Academy award for best Documentary Short Subject is given to Karen Goodman and Kirk Simon for the filmStrangers No More.
• Academy award for best Film Editing is given to Angus Wall and Kirk Baxter for the film The Social Network.
• Best Foreign Language Film is awarded to In A Better World from Denmark.
