Honda Recall The Indian Honda City Models For Replace The Faulty Valve Springs In Car Engine’s

Honda SIEL India Ltd. has recalled 57,853 Honda City Cars in India because of a fault in the lost motions springs in the valvetrains of the i-VTEC engine of Honda City cars sold between November 2008 and December 2009. These faulty springs have a tendency to bend over or even break sometimes. The failure of the spring results in high engine noise, engine stalling and starting problem. This can be a serious problems, but Honda in its goodwill has taken a proactive action to recall these cars and replace the faulty part so that its customers don’t face this problem.

Honda will contact the Customers/owners of the impacted cars and will replace the part free of cost for the affected cars.
