EDO Competition Unveiled Koenigsegg CCR EVO 817

EDO Competition has unveiled the new performance package for the Koenigsegg CCR and called it EVO 817. Even though, the model already packs impressive amounts of power to shame most supercars but the EDO Koenigsegg CCR comes up with various performance modifications to achieve even higher performance than the standard model.

Under the hood, much more impressive twin-supercharged 4.7-liter V8 engine is now capable of producing 891 HP (655 kW) at 6,835 rpm and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque at 6,275 rpm. Thanks to series of modification which includes two Rotrex superchargers and remapping the control unit. EDO has also installed better braking system to the Koenigsegg CCR Evolution. In order to get better acceleration and drivability, tuner has reduced the top speed from 390 Km/h(242 mph) and revised the six speed gearbox by replacing plastic bushings with Uniball units.

In performance terms, EDO Koenigsegg CCR EVO 817 completes 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 3.2 s seconds, 0 – 200 km/h (124 mph) sprint in 9.7 second and it requires just 23 seconds for the sprint from a standing start to 300 km/h (186 mph).

Inside, the interior has been revised with Alcantara upholstery, a new multimedia system, a redesigned center console, and a tire pressure monitoring system display integrated into the dashboard. In addition, TPM system offers information on tire pressures and temperatures.
