German tuning company, JE DESIGN has presented an upgrade program for the second generation Volkswagen Touareg that is designed to take the German SUV to even higher levels of performance with an impressive 440 hp.
Tuning starts with the widebody kit where JE DESIGN fits the 2011 Touareg Hybrid with its own various custom components, which includes a front spoiler, new radiator grill, front and rear wheel arch extensions, rear hatch blend, a rear apron and a roof spoiler. All these components are made from Polyurethane (PU) and hold a 5,355 Euro price tag. In addition, German tuner also offers custom exhaust system with either round or trapezium shaped tips for just 595 Euro.
Under the hood, much more impressive 3.0-liter TSFI-engine is now capable of producing 440 hp (324 kW) and 630 Nm of torque, up from the series’s 379 hp (279 kW) and 580 Nm of torque. Now, JE DESIGN Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid completes 0-100 km/h sprint in just 5.9 instead of 6.5 seconds and the top speed that can be reached is now 255 Km/h instead of 240.
This engine tuning costs 3,999 Euro which includes one year warranty. For an additional 199 Euro, warranty will be extended to two years for the engine, transmission and compressor. The company also offers set of black aluminium wheels and Pneumatic electronic suspension.
